Originally from South Florida, I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from The Florida State University. I moved to NC in 2004 with my husband and son, and I immediately fell in love with the fall and winter seasons (we don’t have them in Florida!). I have worked in the healthcare field since 2001, and I joined the Duke Health system in 2012. My passion has always been healthcare, specifically working closely with patients and families to assist in meeting their needs and reaching their goals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, running, and traveling with my family.
