My career path has taking me from serving as a Refugee/Asylum officer that has interviewed vulnerable populations in need of protection to investigating allegations of abuse/neglect of children. However, my preferred passion is working with vulnerable populations in healthcare. I find tremendous satisfaction in making effective and positive impacts in the health outcomes of every individual that I am privileged to serve.

I was born and raised in Durham NC, but have resided in Covington GA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. I graduated from North Carolina Central University (Eagle Pride…. AMPLIFIED), where I received my BS in Behavioral Health and Social Science. I am also a registered medical assistant. I started with Duke Health in December 2015 working in orthopedics and OB/Gyn. It’s my passion to help others be proactive in living a healthy and safe lifestyle. I am a true advocate for my patients, my family, and my peers and will be the voice for the voiceless. I firmly believe that our past does not define us, nor does it determine our future. Our past give us substance, purpose, and makes us stronger for who we are today. In my personal time, I enjoy fishing, 4wheeling, working out, traveling, attending concerts/shows, fashion, and spending time with my kids.
