I was born and raised in Durham, and I am an avid Duke Basketball fan! I have a masters in General Psychology and a long history of serving patients with behavioral health needs, as well as those experiencing homelessness. I don’t believe we can adequately help patients address their internal needs without first addressing those external Social Drivers of Health needs. Helping others by making them feel respected, heard, and important is at my professional core. Currently, I help my new PHMO colleagues get acclimated to the amazing work we do within population health! I enjoy listening to rap and R&B music (I am the biggest Beyoncé and Drake fan!). I like almost anything that sparkles, as well as traveling with my family and friends, reading, and cooking.
