I was born and raised in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and obtained a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. Over the past three years, I have worked in acute inpatient and outpatient settings with children and adolescents and their families. The opportunity to serve and advocate for my patients is what consistently drives my passion for health care, especially in the area of mental health.
I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and completed my Master of Public Health degree at George Washington University. I enjoy developing relationships with patients and supporting them overcoming large obstacles through small, tangible steps. Outside of work, I enjoy completing DIY projects and cheering on the Washington Nationals.
