"I was born in Colombia and moved to Canada in 1998 and to the USA in 2007. I am social worker by training, as well as a professional dancer, choreographer and painter. I have two boys and truly enjoy nature, especially the ocean. My family strongly believes in community engagement and we are constantly involved in community activities and projects. I am inspired by people’s tenacity and resilience, they remind me of the blessings we receive every day."
